and yea I crank all the way down to 5 clicks from soft driving home, it's a pleasant ride. I'm really thinking an FSB would be a nice solution here, but I'm nowhere near ready to take that on.
No, when my car was too soft, it would try to bite me on hard/fast direction changes, especially when going through a fast/open slalom. The stiffer I made it, the better it got.

oh got it. yea I was getting bit even while going stiffer - seemed more like when I had the rear stiffer than the front the car would bite less, vs having square clicks

Yes. I would try bumping it up to a 2 click difference. I found that to be a good happy point for my car.

I settled at the end of the day at 9F 8R (from stiff) and I was pretty happy with it. We'll see next year how different the car behaves with sticky tires and go from there! Thanks for the help guys! I think ideally, I'd stay 8/10 and just get a front bar, but those front bars seem like a total PITA. We'll see how much roll good tires create.

Front bar isn't that bad, you just drop the subframe down...

drop the subframe?? wut?? you're talking to a guy who, two years ago, paid a shop to assemble his coilovers for him lolol

I've gotten a little better with working on car stuff since then, but the subframe dropping bit and disconnecting steering and yada yada is probably still a little beyond me

1x 12mm bolt at the steering shaft to rack connection from inside the car. Remove downpipe. 2x 19mm nuts, 2x 19mm bolts, 2x 14mm bolts for the subframe itself. 2x 17mm nuts/bolts to get the control arms off the spindles.

I think that's it

My fsb is stock. I had to dial out understeer. I've never had an issue with oversteer - unless it was throttle induced...But that's not a problem 😛
