I got a call a few weeks ago from a Mitsu Dealership I've NEVER been too about an airbag recall for my IX… Odd that the dealership I had my Evo serviced at didn't handle that?

had an event in the evo on saturday - still doing a lot of tweaking with the car - oversteers in certain spots, understeers in certain spots, and just leaving a lot of room around cones. will take some getting used to compared to the mini, that's for sure:

Thinking about swapping this in http://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpe-1142/overview/

in place of my mil.spec 200cel catalytic converter - any input on which will be quieter?

ironically, this setup is way lighter than the pioneer single din + sirius receiver etc. that it replaces!

Finally, a double din that perfectly fits in the surround. I think I have found the one to buy.

I'm not much of an audio buff, but how is this audio quality of that headunit? I'll come up some buzzwords that sound good: good amplifier, high / low pass filters, etc??

yea very pleased - full disclosure i had to get a replacement, the touch screen was acting up but the customer support is A++++ w/ these guys

sound quality is just okay - previous previous owner installed like a boston sound system or something, but the radio reception etc is fine. haven't tested a usb w/ music but plan on doing it soon.

New exhaust is on! Only marginally quieter but I'm happy with it.
