New WW IX MR
Increasing rebound? Wouldn't that make the rear extend faster?
Sounds like you would want to soften it.
I'm no suspension expert, though LOL. I may be thinking it out wrong.

here's an outside view on a different run - not my best but shows I'm fighting power oversteer a little right around the 28s mark exiting a corner. I sound like a broken record but I need get sticky tires and see how the car feels with those on.
thanks! your build is amazing, can't wait to see the progress. hope the undertray works out for you.

Your post doesn't make sense to me, unless you're just mixing up your terms for rebound.
When referring to damping changes, always refer to the damping. More/stiffer rebound damping means the wheel moves slower, less/softer rebound damping means the wheel moves faster.

I had to be reminded we're increasing rebound DAMPENING, not rebound. 😁
hey all! just did my first PDX event!!! It was AWESOME! I see the appeal lol. It wasn't even on a popular track (GMP) but it was still a blast. I only got three sessions in (girlfriend got in a car accident, all fine, pretty minor) but I improved every session, especially between 1-2, and my instructor said I was easily the fastest guy in the novice group - though he admitted that wasn't saying much lol. I only waived one guy by the entire drive (2nd session), and we were about even but my instructor wanted me to have someone to chase.
I think I genuinely improved as a driver through the process. Such a different sport compared to autocross - some clips below, including autocross today - note the difference in driving lol

Hard-core autox guys (at least the ones in my area) will swear we're crazy, but IMO track days > ANY day of the week. 80-100mins of seat time vs 5? Hell yes.
And I'm with you: I was dead hooked after my very first one. I've never looked back.

now that I've done I definitely see the merits for both and will continue doing both for sure. RR is hands down more dangerous though lol. there's something very awesome about pushing the car to the limit at AX and not worrying about spinning out or hitting anything, and driving a different course every time.
few updates:
sent in oil samples for 10w30 ZROD with about 40 runs autox, and one with about 60 min PDX time - will update when I get those back. The Redline MT85 is shifting very smoothly, but still has a lot of trouble getting into 1st and R, even after I adjusted the clutch. Hoping that gets better over time - otherwise, any ideas?
I think if these clutch plates ever wear out I will get the SD plates (as opposed to HD) for a little better livability.
After I finish off this last case of ZROD (testing Amsoil filter, Fram Ultra, and Pure1) will give Redline a try with whichever oil filter gave the best UOA of those 3. After I finish off the Diaqueen I will give redline or motul a try for the t-case and rear diff.
I think tossing the car around at AX is a lot of fun, that's why I do it. I also think it helps on the road course. You get so used to processing info and reacting quickly that the road course seems almost slow-mo. Definitely beneficial to each other.
Just saying that if I could only choose one.....
