VERY interested to hear how much of a difference you feel the driveshaft makes on your car.

Considering one for my Evo.

Yeah, I also cant wait to install it.
But, I haven't seen any alignment marks in the middle section where it needs to be fastened together. Only on the far left and far right side like this:

But it dose align, Not sure if that is correct. Have contacted Lee from DSS

I'm willing to bet that the front and rear sections are balanced separately. Most places don't put a carrier bearing on the balancer to balance them together.

Gotcha. Yeah, if no marks I would assume to just bolt it up and run it. But seeing someone else rcvd theirs with alignment marks, best to check with DSS first.

Got a reply from DSS;
Yes, just align the marks on both ends so they are on the same side. The driveshaft is balanced as a complete unit.
As I have assumed, the marks must align on the far ends.
Great customer service from The Driveshaft Shop guys

So, Today I tried to mount the CF Prop-shaft.
According the manual I did something wrong. It did not fit
My mechanic said to stop hugging that damn thing

Ok, now for real, the prop-shaft did fit perfectly, a real plug'n play mod which took like 1 hour to mount.
I did loctite all bolts just to be on the safe side.

We took a ride, and there were some surprises. The car felt very differently.
This mostly is to be noticed on deceleration when going off boost after WOT. It feels very smooth and soft. There are also no grinding noises from the drive-train because of the twin-clutch of Helix clutch. This noise reduced like 95%. Huge difference.

All in all, huge improvement. Very happy.

There is no doubt that the drivetrain will last longer with this driveshaft thanks to it's ability to absorb shock and noise. Very cool part. Did it take most of the "slop" out of that throttle off, throttle on transition?

Throttle off definitely!

btw, My wife was soooo happy this morning when I moved out the CF driveshaft at 6AM
But she did not realize until 20 min ago that I came back with the OEM driveshaft to weight it

it has 16kg (35lbs)

Here's some news, got it back from the paint-shop and started the transplantation with a friend of mine. Changed all screws, fitted new rivets, cleaned the back and mounted the bumper.
