You're using a brand new evo 9 core with oem bore etc? With 85mm pistons and 94mm stroke you're actually closer to 2.1L. 2132cc to be exact. Results should be good regardless though.

I was aware of that. I work with numbers each day and I like to round up where I can. Plus 2.2themoon sounded better then 2.1overthehill. LOL
I'm looking forward to the results as well.

Me too. As long as backpressure doesn't get out of control both engines should make good power with a solid tune.
On my stock engine/cams and 2.75" DP my car would make 37psi of backpressure at 30psi boost. I will be testing back pressure on this setup as well. I'm hoping it has a similar curve to the 615/477 run .

I've got 125 miles on the new engine on pump gas and it feels as good downlow/part throttle as the stock engine with the stock intake manifold did on Ethanol. When the skunk2 was installed on the 2.0 it lost some of the response/snap that it had on the street.
Jay M spent a few minutes on the idle and its pretty good. He knows the Infinity well and with live changes you can see and feel results instantly.
The new engine runs smooth but you can tell its serious. Exhaust note is much louder then before and the car vibrates a little more.

How hard is it to put a pressure sensor on the turbo? I may do that for fun just to compare.

You can measure backpressure via the egr port, or the exhaust with a 4-5 bar sensor or a guage. When will your car run?

Thank you Sir. The car is an absolute blast to drive now! The Fp red/2.2 and 4.11 make for a well balanced streetcar.

Thanks man! Drove the car 320 miles round trip to jacksonville this weekend at 70-80mph. Managed 22mpg on E85 on the way up and 25mpg on the way down on pump gas. Fwiw, it used to cruise pretty easy at 70mph and now its 75-77mph. The 4.11 Final drive and evo 8 gearing puts it around 3000 @80 so its really nice on the highway.
