Thanks man. I'm really happy with the 2.2, good power band and low vibration. No problem on the wheels, glad you are happy with them.

Agree. 17x9 et35. 15.5lbs Added a 3mm spacer to clear the front brakes and running a 255/40/17 tire without any modifications to the fenders at all.

I chose the 17x9 since I like to keep rotational weight down as much as possible. This is easier on the drivetrain and makes the car a little faster. It seemed to me that a 255 sized tire was lightweight, inexpensive and all I needed for compared to anything larger.

For reference , wheel and tire on my scale is 37lbs. A stock bbs with bald 235/45/17 was 40lbs.

Is it a must to use spacer to clear the front brake?

Yes with 17". IIRC the 18" does not need them.

Tim's Evo is a great example of a car that was built for numerous things! keep it up man! this thing is a beast

Im actually trying to get a hold of EFI to see if they still make the battery tray. I think my Miata battery is reaching its end and i would like to go up in size now but i need to reposition the battery. hopefully i can get one.

Nice work on the M130.
Did you use an off the shelf GPA/R package from Motec, or a custom package from JRR or similar?
Did RSP end up using a different idle valve such as a Bosch 3-wire instead of the factory 4 wire?

Cheers.

I'm still on the Infinity. Its been too busy to put the MoTec on. Yes, its the JRR package. I've talked to John personally a few times and he runs the M1 on alot of Rally cars out west.
Factory idle valve with the 2 red/yellow wires taken out of the connector.
