Im back to the old 3-pocket mount cause the 3d printed PLA warped like crazy as anyone would have expected. Now I can print ASA for all my stuff but havent gone back to remake it.

Yeah I believe you printed it for Austin who gave it to me. It is admittedly already warping. Will likely have to revise this. But I dont want a gaping hole and HVAC controls which are no longer in use. So not sure which direction to go.

I don't remember the exact shape for the panel but if it's 2D I can get it laser cut from aluminum or plastic for pretty cheap.

Lol, I have no recollection of printing it for anyone else but it sure looks familiar

Now Im printing everything in ASA which can handle interior and engine bay heat just fine. I want to get a steel nozzle to try CF Nylon purely for the finish it has.

Well if either of you want to do me the honor I'd of course pay you for your time. I can measure it up if need be, it is 2d.

It was stepped in the back to screw into the mounting holes and had a lip to sit flush. I used a hot glue gun to reinforce it as well.

Trace it onto a sheet of paper and mark up measurements and text it to me. Should be fairly cheap from either aluminum or plastic.

Great to finally see these things light up after so long. Need to sort out AFR though. It peggs at 17. Maybe an exhaust leak or two... But I have not driven just driveway warm up. Have to setup the oil temp so it more accurately represents hot. But confirmed its functional.

This was the mount I made. Much more than a flat plate but it was purpose built for what I needed.

All to do this,

Couldn't handle not having a giant screen in the center of the dash after buying a Tesla huh?

I like that Dallas. These gauges are a bit of a throw back these days. Ideally would like to have a digital dash. But that means standalone, canbus, wiring, and money

Well first DIY alignment in the books. Car was so misaligned it was damn right dangerous to drive. No longer. Need some more tweaks but night and day diff.

Christmas never ends with these cars. Cant wait to put it in. But may have it paint matched first. Or just close enough rattle can...

Just a matter of some new seats and harnesses next.
