Spent a little time today trimming the rear brake shields. Have a bunch of holes in them from drilling out spot welds but it doesn't matter.

I think Im going to get Dallas's trailing arms "while im in here".

Gotta a few projects going at once. Gauge wiring sucks. Also waiting on Dallas's trailing arms and a few other odds and ends.

Been tied up with holiday and fam stuff but several garage upgrades completed like electrical and ordered a minisplit AC/Heat Pump.

Managed to finish rear uprights. And added a set of SSB trailing arms. Just need to torque bolts and alignment etc which I think Im going to do myself. Need to buy an at home alignment kit still.

My at-home-alignment has been very DIY for 20 years now. A couple milk jugs and tubing to level pads, 1/8" tiles, Jack stands, and fishing line. Perhaps its the fact Ive done it well over 100 times, but I have full confidence I dont need high tech to do an alignment relatively quickly. But if you kick my jack stand we gonna have words

Got some free time and buttoned everything up. Had to extend rear strut because rear uprights rose wheel position. Also put all new drivetrain fluids in it. Alignment is jacked but it drove around under its own power for the first time in a long time.

you know you're always welcome buddy. Bring a set of camber locks and a splitter blade when you head down 😁

Been doing small things as time permits.

Lowered the car about 3/4" in the front. Added elevator bolts to rear wing. Took some pictures.

Washed and waxed both cars. Put new fluids in e3.

Currently enjoying the view.

Finally getting around to finishing gauges. In doing so removed dash and cleaning up some wiring back there. Decided to flock dash while I had it out. Just did it today so waiting for it to cure then vaccum excess in a couple days. Have all sensors installed and wired. Had to shorten some of the wires as they were excessively long out of the box, which required depins of the connectors and whatnot. Also have ground and switched power from a now unused 15amp circuit. Also got my clock to work again lol

Oh yeah, bought film for an old polaroid Ive had since I was a kid. Amazed it still works and film still available. Makes for some cool garage paraphernalia.

Had to toss it in. Might be one of the best and cheapest mods ive done. Cant wait to finish buttoning up all the rest.
