I think I may have resolved the issue.

fore I installed the new OEM radiator cap, I decided to unplug the hose from the radiator to overflow and blew through to confirm it's clear, it was clear. Then I plugged the hose from the overflow and blew through it, guess what, it was clogged with rust/gunk. This is the reason it pop that hose off while on the dyno as it didn't have a path to expand. I installed the STM coolant tank I had sitting and now the temps are pretty much good. Temp doesn't go past 196ish, but when it does, it drops quickly. The radiator feed line seems to still have some pressure in it but I'm thinking it's normal.

My radiator hoses always seem a lil firm once the car warms up. Glad all seems to be well with it now. Time to enjoy it now.

Your radiator hoses will always have pressure when warm. You have a 1.3 bar cap so it'll always have up to 1.3 bar before the cap will vent.

gotcha, I had a 1.3 cap but switched to the OEM 1.1bar cap yesterday.

coolant issue seems to have been resolved.

buttttt, now the car doesn't want to idle now, smh. cold start is fine but after it warms up it doesn't want to idle. Tried changing target RPM to but doesn't seem to do anything. Going to have to dig through the bay and see if any hoses came loose.

I'll check that out. It was idling fine before but then stopped. well, thinking about it, it would idle at target then idle around 5-700rpm higher than target after running for awhile, now it's doing the opposite. lol

Got another tune day set for next week. Alpha from Induction Performance will be tuning it now.

Switched from a GM IAT to Rife IAT as that's what alpha recommends.

Idk why he would have you change the iat sensor they are all pretty much the same thing. Scaled slightly different.

Based off my research, it's suppose to be faster and more accurate.
Nothing wrong with the previous tuner, just wanted it tuned with alpha

Well, here’s what happened.

car made 792hp/650tq @ 42psi on e75. Had to stop because it started to drop fuel pressure up top. Guessing the dual 450s and stock fuel lines held it back. Going to upgrade the lines and pumps in the winter and go back.

dialed the car back to 38psi to keep things safe. Still seems like a torquey street monster.
