Put the splitter end plates on and then fitted the splitter to the car.

Also made some quick release brackets for the front bumper.

Hoses turned up for the front calipers & clutch so I fitted both of them. I love the Hel stuff, the measurements are always spot on with there custom hoses.

Finished all the brake lines and bled the brakes up.

I also mate a floor plate out of 3mm ally, this is the mould for the carbon one that I’m getting made.

Whilst I was at work I painted the wing black and made some carbon end plates and matte cleared them.

Made a carbon plate for the compressor, tank and battery to sit on, also mounted the fire extinguisher as well.

Managed to pick up an antenna for comms system, little shark fin one.

Carbon doors turned up today, they are so damn light. The front doors with the lexan windows weigh 8.1Ib and the rear doors weigh 5.95Ib

A massive weight saving over the oem doors.

Fitted the rear wing, mounts, centre support & cut the bootlid so it could slide over the wing.

The mounts are made out of 8mm thick aluminium, then there’s 2 side supports made out of 3mm steel that bolt to the side of the chassis near the top of the boot lid, and also a centre support. 3 of us have stood on the wing and it is absolutely solid.

I have to take the wing aerofoil off if I want to remove the bootlid but I don’t have anything in the boot so there’s no real problem for me.

Also put the carbon boot floor in as well.

Fitted the carbon doors today and also weighed the car.

Haven’t weighed the car since it was 2783Ib but I had some rough calculations.

Minimum weight for world time attack challenge is 2475Ib with 5L of fuel, so I drained the tank and then put the 5L of fuel in. The end result was 2466Ib, that’s wet with all the oil, coolant and the 5L of fuel. I’m super happy with this weight, it’s so damn light.

Now the only thing that’s needed to complete the car is the new mil spec wiring loom which will be about 17-20Ib. I’m honestly thinking it will be the lightest evo at the world time attack event.

Loaded the car on the trailer and did the 17 hour round trip to drop the car off to my tuner to have the wiring, tuning and corner weighting done.

I love the look of the car, once I get it back In about 6 weeks time ill paint the doors blue.

Chassis and engine loom is pretty much finished, final terminating will happen once the loom goes in the car.

Had a few mechanical bits done. A new custom catch can, a lot bigger than my last one. The rocker cover, gearbox and transfer box breather all go into it.

Also had the sensor block mounted to the firewall and all the new lightweight hoses made and fitted.

Benny, couple of questions for you.
1.) What prompted you to choose the PWR intercooler instead of say a Plazmaman one. I'm not partial to either one, just curious what data you're seeing that led to your decision? Asking because I'm contemplating upgrading from an ETS setup to a Plazmaman. When I looked ta the PWR it's significantly more expensive than the Plazmaman.
2.) Have you ever had problems with coolant slowly seeping through the silicone cooling hoses? I have that issue on my car. As soon as I changed to silicone hoses I can smell it leeching through the silicone (no leaks though).

I really love your build! Keep up the great work!

Hey mate, PWR are an awesome brand uses my top levels of motorsport all over the world including F1, MotoGP, V8 Supercars and even NASA. Plus they are only half an hour away from me so it just made sense to me to go with them. There products have always worked for me so I will keep using them. But they do different levels of products. Nothing on my car is anything you’d find on there website, it’s all there top level motorport versions that take 8-12 weeks to produce.

I have never had a problem with coolant leaching out of the hoses neither.
