I've purchased from Rock West Composites before for CF, if you need a second opinion.

Love the build.

I could, but once I hook the cables up to the battery and controller, there will be a large potential difference between the two cable terminations. Rerouting them would certainly be feasible, but it will be less work to set it up properly the first time.

ix bits
I needed a new steering wheel air bag, but they go for near-as-makes-no-difference $200. I found this ix wheel and airbag combo for $240. Alcantara padded wheel cover coming soon

Nissan Parts
I was able to find a new OEM cell tap harness from the LEAF BMS.

I'll splice this into my Orion BMS cell tap harness for a clean look with quality OEM terminations (Nissan cell taps for 48S2P = 96 cells).
Cardboard box also functions as a kitten trap.

Cutting Stuff
Preparing the contactor/fuse box for installation and further wiring.

Close up of conductor core in 4 AWG cable.

4 AWG is a delight to work with after wrestling with the 4/0 AWG motor cables

Contactor/Fuse Box

Remaining circuits will be wired up once this is bolted into place.

The Cannibalization Continues

I planned on wiring up the key switch today, but it is broken. I ordered another one (along with the entire upper steering column) on ebay and that got me wondering...
From how many different Evos have I sourced used parts?

01. Hood
02. Front Pass fender
03. Headlights
04. JDM rear bumper cover
05. Gearbox, TC, Axles, DS, Rear Diff
06. Interior firewall insulation
07. OEM Enkeis and Tires
08. Seat belts
09. Coolant overflow bottle
10. Clutch & Flywheel
11. Steering wheel & Airbag
12. Front upper grill
13. Lower front bumper cover mesh
14. Under-tray
15. Tein coilovers
16. HVAC control knobs
17. Front sub-frame
18. Steering column & Key switch
19. J Panels
20. Hood latch

After I start addressing the interior, I'm thinking mid 20s minimum.
Anyway, here is a pic of the broken key switch, set back # 36,421.

How are things coming along? You've probably got your new ignition switch by now, is the conduit mounted yet? I don't think we've had any interior pics for a while, so maybe some of pics with the new wheel and the display you're going to use for everything?

I think what he is saying is that we are all cheering you on from a far and we are all extremely interested in what you are doing.
