Preparing for "phase 2"

Drove and picked up Trans and LSD from Jon. Also received the Evo 6 Koyo my wife ordered me for my bday.

Still have not sent pan to Racefab. I am compiling a list of things I need to get trans, radiator(while deleting AC), and LSD in. Bushings and such.

The trans ended up having a bad 1st gear and input shaft. So after getting new ones, the only not new piece is 2nd gear itself.

Stage 3 with OE final-drive and fluid-cooler adapter plate/4th gear cooler.

Gears:
1 - 2 Evo 9
3 - 4 Evo 8
5th JDM .825:1

Before:

After:

LSD is a 1 way Max-lock 12 plate with all the bells and whistles.

EVO 6 Koyo still in the box:

He gave me back the input shaft and 1st gear. They were already Shot Peened and Isotropic Super Finished before he determined they were bad. 1st gear is a pretty cool paper weight haha

Starting under the hood. Got all the AC off besides compressor. Probably going to pull the motor to clean and remove junk which isnt needed. I need to borrow an engine hoist.

Just a Tomei crank scrapper/baffle and Racefab wet sump(Which I sent to them last week). Probably also do a EGR delete. Also maint items like new timing belt/accessory belt and maybe new water pump.

Thanks guys. No I don't have Instagram though sorry. It just started getting cold here so progress will be minimal. At least until I get a decent gas or elec heater in the garage. Brought my wheels/tires into my office. Going to be too cold to leave NT01s in there. Wife was not pleased haha.

No updates per se, but parts showing up. Racefab wetsump, flywheel/clutch, 5spd shifter/base. Its presently 6 degrees F here, and looks like 12" of snow in the coming days. The high for Sunday is 0 degrees F... Low is -14.

About 1 week shipping via USPS, 3 days to perform work at Racefab, then about 3 days return DHL shipping. It was longer for me though, because for whatever reason Rob was not accepting paypal. Had to do wire transfer from my bank. Also cost me an additional $50 for the transfer...

Also I realize the photos show the pan poorly. I took it out of the box and snapped pictures. He had notes all over to clean the inside before installation. He must have sprayed it with a light coat of oil too prob for rust prevention.
