Will do. Need to get it unbolted etc. Also curious to weigh it vs the built 5spd I got. Hopefully there is some weight savings. I thought I read 25lbs diff between 5 and 6 speeds.

 

I literally bench press my transmissions on. The 6 is heavier and bulkier. I'm also curious to know by how much.
if it's substantial, I may have to swap again LOL

 

Picked up this BR north south bar or cross member... whatever its called...used from board member EvoooB. Shaves ~6lbs and looks pretty.

Mentions it does not fit with stock under-tray but I'm thinking I'll modify it or get a proper tray built at some point.

I also would like to get BR billet dif mounts and tubular mustache bar for a almost ~20lbs in weight shaved. Then I can install the rear-end and get it out of the way.

Also got the T/C out.

That TRE gearbox looks so nice freshly blasted with the billet cooler plate.

 

I just dropped $3200 on a short block. I don't think I could afford your trans, though this would be the PERFECT time.

 

I put it up for 1k but I honestly don't know what they are fetching nowa days. What have you paid for 2nd hand 6spds?

 

$400 for one $350 for current. Both picked up; no shipping.

 

Removed trans and got motor on the stand. Also pulled remaining AC bracket and timing cover. Waiting on parts and figuring out where I want to go next on this.

I think I'm going to pull the head...

Also got most of the big stuff out from under the dash. And got that mat on the firewall which was a bit of a pain in the ***.

 

Does the firewall deadener chip off like the stuff on the floor?
