Yes, my boost was set to 22.5psi with some initial spiking at 23-24 for a half second. First drive after the new parts on and the boost slammed to 25psi and held there before starting to bleed down. However, after than I turned the boost down. Car is spiking 24psi and holding at 22.5 then bleeds to 20psi by 7500 (where I shift).

Dave how do you feel the ported and coated stock manifold would do if it were mated to a gt30r or gt35r with the mitsu flange?

im not dave, but those turbos require an "off-center" turbine housing which is not nearly as good as a tangential housing (far worse) and not even as good as an on-center turbine housing. It flows very poorly and is not really that good of an idea... although it *does* work, it just doesnt work that well...

Correct, we are working on trying to further port the stock 02 housing. I'd like to put it back on my car but to be honest, for 15 whp I will keep the Ebay part on until I find something as good or better

Thanks Geoff. I agree completely. Keeping the stock manifold with some off the wall adapter or an inferior turbine housing just insn't ideal.

thanks,

i wasnt talking about a adaptor.... precision sells a gt35r with the mitsu flange. I included the specs below so you could take a look. I tried to find a picture but had no luck. the part # they provide is GT35S-R Mitsu

Whl Dia. Trim A/R Wh Dia. Trim A/R

Juiced,

Uh, hmmmm......easiest way for me to get around this one, being a PTE dealer is simply tell you that the Mitsubishi flange that they use is based on the old DSM stuff. It won't work on the EVO.

Alright. I just ordered 10 of those 02 housings. Since they work I am going to stock them.

Won't make crap on them as I have to buy them just like you guys do but atleast I will have them. Some of you don't want to buy from Ebay and I'm not sure if you all noticed but since my postings the prices have increased.

We'll have them instock probably late next week.

O.K. here is what I am going to do. I ordered 10 of the housings I have on my car. I am going to get them in here and send them out to have them ceramic coated. The material is thin and the ceramic coating will help longevity and engine bay temps. Besides, then you can't get it on Ebay. We'll offer them for $200. They are about $100 now off ebay with shipping, I think.

1 low mx6, not sure if the stock donut gasket goes on or not. Our downpipe doesn't use the stock donut so it wasn't a concern for us. It does come with new gaskets though.

I'll answer this one for Dave. Yes you can use the stock donut gasket. You just take it off your existing stock 02 and put in the new piece.

Isn't the opening on the Ebay O2 be wider than the one on the stock gasket? Wouldn't you need to modify the stock gasket then? If the Ebay O2 already comes with its own gaskets as DAve said, then I don't think it matters, though.
