flsilverevo,

It's hard to say what my RS would run on this turbo. My car ran 9.97 at 142 with 547 whp on our dyno. You can kind of guess from there that it should run 10.40's or so.

Nice results there David.
The HTA wheels look to be working very well
Great to see some objective testing.

flsilverevo, yes, the turbo kit would work well with your mods. Of course, I would recommend a stand alone but that will open a new debate.

wizzo, I have no answer.

Just bought the new hta gt3076r kit with the cast manifold...
Will be installing and posting dyno results in a couple of weeks.
Will be on a stock block 2.0 , all other parts will be listed when posted.

Dave,
How would you think this turbo would perform on a 2.3L with a ported head with a 1.02 A/R? Or is the 1.02 A/R not recommended?

Johnhwfd... Did you buy the hta 3076 with the .63 a/r exhaust housing??? I'm really interested in the full spool rpm with that housing on that turbo. DB... What would be the tradeoffs between using the .82 and .63 a/r exhaust housings on the hta 3076? Which would you recommend?

If he bought the cast manifold kit it comes with the FP turbine housing which is advertised as a .70 a/r. The 2.3 liter may work really good in a 1.02 housing with this turbo, it would be worth a try.

The difference in the .82 and .63 on this turbo will be a few hundred RPM quicker spool up.

David B. which car was tested with the turbo the 8 or 9?
What size a/r was used on the test car?
Would a port and polish be possible on the cast manifold?

From my understanding his RS is a 8 since it is a 2004

A/R used .82 as stated before

I am sure a gasket match port and polish would be beneficial but I am sure DB can shed more light on it.

OK, thanks for buying the test turbo, we should be getting it out of here in the next day or two, we are waiting on the Tial 44 mm gates to come in.

The cast manifolds are matched to the cylinder head ports when you get them, DO NOT gasket match them to the factory exhaust manifold gasket.
