Wait this has gone completely off topic, the man didnt ask if you should or should not wear or a seat belt or your life stories of how you got saved wearning and/or not wearing one, he asked anybody knew how to kill the little beep and "this guy 7777" i think has offered the best option .

I used to not wear seatbelts when i was 16 then 1 day i was wearing it and flipped my car by accident saved my life and have always worn one since.
I put my 8 into a ditch at 120mph+, fliped end over end before landing on the wheels and driving down the ditch or a bit.

no seat belt, blind luck save's lives too

Stupidity kills more than blind luck saves. Ponder this, you will, on the Tree of Woe.

The dealership can turn the seatbelt noise off. I don't know how, but the mechanic said he could. I think in the ECU.

CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF there are plenty of times you will want to have the car running or :gasp: moving while not having the seatbelt fastened, not to mention we have a god-given right as free people to do whatever we want so long as it doesn't affect other people. i know in the new socialist police state the government is constantly trying to save ourselves from ourselves with things like seatbelt laws, but at the end of the day it's your choice. when i'm driving 2 blocks at 25 mph in a very low traffic neighborhood, the constant seatbelt reminder presents more of a hazard to the driver and people around them than the lack of a fastened seatbelt ever could, making it counter-productive to its cause, which i'm assuming is safety, and when a safety device causes an unsafe condition, it justly qualifies for elimination. i'm sure the kids in the neighborhood appreciate the fact i can fully turn around and look both ways before backing into the street, which isn't possible with the seatbelt on. the damn X might as well just go into limp mode at that point because the seatbelt reminder was recorded by satan himself and is on a constant loop, distracting your attention from the road and surroundings with the noise from the bowels of hell.

That is in Poland. I wonder what happened, I mean it seems like someone went on to their lane into the on-coming traffic or something? jeez.

I've read through 5 pages of non-sense. Please someone answer the question. For those of us who drive on the track with harnesses, how the hell do you turn off that anoying beep!!!

There is a harness/cartridge that unclips from the bottom of the receiving end of the seat belt (the female end if u will). It slides out and there is a part which is spring loaded. compress this and tape it up to keep it that way and you will never hear that beep again!

Just to reiterate, I do always wear my seatbelt which I believe everyone should. When I pull into my alley and into tight spots I need to be free of it and that beeping is VERy obnoxious. So enjoy!

Also if someone else posted this then props to them. I didn't go back and read the entire thread.
