ok im trying to figure out how to convert over to this mod from my current tune. I am in the process of moving every piece of data over to the V7. when i got to the fuel maps, i noticed that the V7 has no high oc or low oc maps?? any idea why. im new to tuning, sorry.

There's two fuel sections gallas. There's Global Fuel Settings and Main Map Fuel Settings. Are you missing the tables from the Main Map Fuel settings section?

yeah i found where they were at. my new problem is that when i transfer all the data to the V7 rom and save it, then go and close the rom and re open it. the rom opens as a normal stock rom without the v7 dropdown. i found if i only change a few things like immobilizer code and such it will save fine. but if i change the timing for example, when it is opened again after the save its back to stock rom setup... i have literally transfered my current tune to the V7 over a dozen times..

HELP!

Im currently running 96530706 on my JDM evo 8 GSR.

The problem that Im getting, Is my car randomly throws up a o2 sensor code. This cant be right as I have a brand new sensor. had this issue before, but it was also throwing up an o2 heater circuit code. After we changed the o2 sensor we only get the o2 sensor circuit fault code. Its totally random when it desides to light up.

I have heard that the only real difference between the Evo 8GSR & Evo 8 MR is a single pin to the ECU that relates to the o2 sensor. Has anyone else got some insight or information to this? HELP ME! I wanna get rid of how this code appears..

Cheers

I just want to make sure what I am doing is right. I downloaded the mod put three xml in the metadata folder and put the rom where my rom's are. Then when I opened the run that was downloaded it asked me to convert it or something (not sure if I did it right because for some reason the year is wrong and I don't have a 6sp). From here I just copy my values from my rom to the one I downloaded?

the year and 6sp are just defined in the main xml (96530706 if your using that one), you can edit them if you want to be more specific to your car but it doesn't really matter

I'm using the 88590015v7 rom and I notice that while logging, I have 0% wgdc all the way through 100 load. Is this normal or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Any load below 100 is vacuum so that would be correct.

started setting up v7 and didnt have much luck. transfered everything i could find in my old map over to the new one. my current rom is 88590015 running speed density. i downloaded the modded rom from the v7 thread 88591715 and when i crank up the car the idle is more lean than the wideband can display. i dont have my wideband setup for looging yet. also, idle related, it didnt want to stay on at first but once i let it warm up it stayed on but stayed pretty lean, around 16-17 afr's.

thoughts?

does anyone know of any bugs in the rom for 88590015... i have a thread on my problems and have been reseracing daily for so damn long... the tephra v7 rom works and runs fine... the first time.. i know its not immobilizer related but just random as hell.. i will flash the v7 rom starts up great, drives great. but as soon as i turn the ignition off the car acts like the fuel pump is off next time i try to start. sometimes i can flash it and start it 10, 3 or 2 times in a row before it stops. i have looked every where and talked to countless tuners... im bout ready to throw in the towl and call this crap.. does anyone even have a clue??
