I'm going with my brother and my buddy's 400whp STi. Possibly someone I know with a newer R6 and maybe a few other cars if I can get a definite yes or no from them.

 

I got a buddy from PA coming to visit me, so him, his brother, his son, my wife, my daugther and I are all going. What time you leaving, maybe we can meet you somewhere and all drive there together. And if anyone else from the J-Ville area is going and want to drive in a group. Let me know. I wanna get there around the time they open.

 

im sure we can all meet up at the BP on western then cruise there for the event

We can pretty much meet anywhere. More than likely I can probably arrange to just meet at my house or something so as to be able to shoot the **** for a little bit without being harassed and make sure everyone can stay together and not get lost. Who knows though. What ever works best for everyone.



On another note a couple of guys came up here with their cars Saturday night. One guy with a Terminator Cobra and one guy with a GT500.

Well I said I'd play with the Cobra. Turns out he was making high 600whp numbers. So let's just say that he was like 3 cars ahead deep into 5th.....granny shifting.

The best part was the GT500 who started about 8 car lengths back...blew past me like I was standing still. From his explanation he makes well over 800whp on pump gas and something like 1100 on race gas. Something like a Mammoth 2.8 supercharger, etc etc. It was CRAZY loud. They could hear the GT500 from the bypass all the way over at Roses. I had my windows down when he passed me. Scary car!! Unbelievably fast. I enjoyed the loss though.

Oh yeah and both owners were real cool. Like I kind of expected them to be cocky douchebags, but they really surprised me by actually being down to earth and cool couple of guys.

Either way people beware of a white GT500 with a cage in it!!

 

Car is almost fully stock again. Took the dump off and man its a quiet and lovely ride.

Now my clutch is slipping hard core but Im not touching that till after deployment.
