I hear ya man. It seems like all the problems people have had with their X's and I was lucky not to have, happened all at once. I except the CMC to go with the Exdy Stage 2. Im actually surprised it lasted as long as it did. Gives me a reason to get the one from SSP.

I would do more research on the subject just to verify, but I believe it's a bolt-on affair. As far as I'm aware the turbos are the same minus the hotside. Again I would verify this though.

So apparently my wheel bearings are shot. So they are getting replaced under warranty.

Wohoo, I can hopefully enjoy driving my car again

Wow, so it was the wheel bearings. I would have never guessed that by the amount of noise that your car was making. At least they were under warranty.

I saw your car once near the lemon lot, I was playing soccer with some co workers. I work for NAVAIR at the depot.

I just wanted to post up a follow up on my headstud 1x1 method. I changed the oil today, and everything is good to go. No coolant in the oil, or anything odd for that matter. I know some people have a dreaded fear of doing the studs 1x1, but the method suggested to me has worked...so far. Basically, install the studs in the proper order. Tq them with the supplied moly lube from arp. I think the important part of this install is the following: Drive the car about 50-80 miles, or through several heat up/cool down cycles, then pull the valve cover and re-check the torque. I had 1 or 2 that budged very little, but I think it's the checking that has kept everything in tact. I have been doing 32-33psi pulls, and all is well.

I have done a hand full of head studs that way without any issues. As long as you go in the correct order or something similar and torque the **** out of them until they are all swapped out, you cant go wrong. Glad to hear the car is doing well. Hopefully be seeing you guys soon.

I did the 1X1 method like two years ago and I've yet to have a problem. It's been ran on a 93 tune at 24psi and a 93 +meth tune at 28-29psi for quite a while.

On a side note I'll be down at Fort Jackson this weekend until mid June so I might head down to the Jacksonville area one weekend
