Welcome to the other side! When are you getting your Evo?

 

Might as well say hello. Local Tampa guy (Tampa Palms/USF area), been lurking for a couple months here. Bought my 06' about 2 1/2 months ago. Nothing special, just clean and lightly modded.

 

I believe that EVERYTHING is special about an Evo!

I used to live in Hidden Palms on the border of New Tampa. Don't lurk any further. Come out with us to the local meets and car shows. You might even win! Plenty of us have won somewhere for something!

We actually just won a trophy for Car Club Donating the Most Toys at the Toys for Tots toy drive and car meet at USF.

I was going to go to the usf meet but messed up the dates. Oh well, next time perhaps.

 

Well looks like I might be moving up from SFL to the tampa area ( St. Petersburg area)

My question to all , I will be working about 0.5 mile away from Alberted Whitted airport.
is it better to rent or buy in the immdiate area.. the most I am willing to commute is 12-15 miles each way.

im currently still shopping ive found a clean 05 mr in jax im interested in and another 03 red evo on rota grids in the ghetto on sligh and nebraska lol im hesitant about that one but its a really good looking car anyone know someone selling a car for around 15k less then 100k on it?

 

i got a buddy who lives in tampa palms he drives an 05 STI silver with a cf hood perrin wing stiffies blacked out tails and XXR cant miss it. i actually work over her at metlife right by 75 on Bruce b downs

right now my **** box red cavalier but i used to drive my 04 blue suby but she will be gone next couple of weeks now im on the hunt for a evo not having a lot of luck. see alot of rebuilt titles!

Some people buy an Evo and are not aware of the culture that comes with it. I was driving next to a blue Evo 8 in my Evo 7 and he did everything in his power NOT to look at me. Then he turned off suddenly onto 275-S. Oh well. I guess if you don't know, it could seem a little weird when other people try to show you respect when you don't expect any.

Our first scheduled event for 2013 is Jan 11th... come for the food, friends, and prizes!!! You don't even NEED an Evo for this event.

 

I'm actually going to be in the area from Jan 24th to the 28th. You guys have any meets or anything going on? Just curious. There's nothing but snow and salt and the roads up here so mine will sit until spring.....
