CeeKay got an Evo 8.5...
Its a 2003 Evo 8... but... it has the full Evo 9 MR conversion. 6-Speed, Mivec, turbo.... the only thing Evo 8 about it is the interior.

I've been out of the Mitsubishi community for a couple years now since I sold the Lancer for my camera. Well, I finally decided I wanted a car of my own again. Two weeks ago I bought a '95 Miata with 127k miles. It makes my wife's VW Rabbit look like a minivan by comparison.
Plans are to get it healthy with fresh belts and fluids and then go autocrossing with it. The bummer is that I'm a bit stuck at the moment. In flushing the radiator, what originally appeared to be some rusty old coolant now appears to be oil in the coolant so it may need a head gasket. On top of that, I stripped the radiator drain plug and haven't been able to find a direct replacement, since it's a non-factory radiator. I've got something that fits now, but I'll have to dremel it to really make it seal. Hopefully I'll have it back on the ground this week.
