Saw this Evo at Tire Kingdom and spoke with the owner. Cool guy. Doesn't do the Evo scene anymore. Bummer.

Who's scared of the Gov't shutdown? I am STILL going to Northdale Recreation Center this coming Sunday to talk about upcoming events. I'll understand if no one else shows due to gas prices doubling (6-8 dollars a gallon as of midnight, so the rumor goes). I will still be there at noon, as always.

 

Yeah, I remember seeing your car alot on MacDill. I was an HVAC Tech at JCSE. So is there a ton of Evo's on the base now?

...the Gov't didn't shut down, gas prices didn't double, and the world didn't come to an end.

Well... No pics today. One new Evo showed. Thanks, John, for coming out. Sorry all of the other guys cancelled. I can't speak for them, so I wont even try. It just kills me that you drove so far to see only two Evo's.

We are still on track for May 22nd and I've got a lot of positive feedback for that day.

For those of you that don't want to go to Busch Gardens that day, you are still welcome to come to the link up where we will take pictures and swap stories before we convoy over to BG.

PS Thanks OXIMUIS for showing up also. I can always count on you (when you say you'll be there, you ARE there!)

 

I don't drive it there all that much now. I have seen quite a few Evo's on MacDill lately. I didn't see but maybe 1 or 2 a couple of years ago.

 

So I went to my first car meet here in Brooksville and I was surprised as hell!
It started at 5:30 with some 50's cars (including a Citroen and a Tiffany), then the 60's and 70's rolled in. At about 6:30 imports came in, Suby crew, Honda Boys and the VeeDub club. I was the only Evo in the mix but it was cool. All in all there were well over a hundred cars in all. This goes on every Thursday night so it would be cool to have some Evo company.

 

Should've invited me. I'm always down.
