Hey sup man. I have been a bit out of commission. With work, school and another project, I barely have had time to do anything Evo related. I was going to come out the day you guys were at Honeymoon Beach, but I got sidetracked and would not have been able to make it in time.

Don't know why I didn't do a search on here for other evo owners before. I've been stationed at Macdill AFB for about a year now. Been a little rough for me and my family gettin used to the "city" life so I haven't gotten out to do much with the evo.

Anyways, I drive a wingless electric blue IX and am in dire need of some car talk. Folks I work with are hardly into cars, so yeah. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see when there is another meet-up and I'll def try to make it out.

 

I'll be in my wife's Evo VIII this afternoon in MacDill. Maybe you want to meet us there...? We have a photo appointment in the furniture store at 5pm.

Some of us are going to the Fast Five car show in Wesley Chapel on April 29th. Maybe you'd like to come?

Lots of us are getting together on May 22nd for a meet/cruise/day at Busch Gardens. Even if you don't join us at Busch Gardens, we'd love to see you before we roll out that day.

We meet up once a month (at least). May's meet will be the one on the 22nd, so the next one after will be the middle of June and so on.

Please join us on all or any event. Feel free to suggest ideas, as well.

Guys, we lost one today. He traded his Evo for a pickup. It was nice that he participated with us for the time he owned one of the best machines a person can own.

 

I'm not really picky on the exact model as long as its an 8 or 9 lol. I've been stationed at macdill since January of last year. I used to live in kissimmee before I joined the military so I'm familiar with the kissimmee/Orlando area. I would definitely like to meet some more evo owners around the macdill area. The guys I work with aren't into cars at all and it kills me lol. Anyways enough with my rambling. Hopefully I can meet some of you soon.

 

Golden Oldies in New Port Richie has a Rally Red Evo VIII as of yesterday. Maybe you could trade it one for one or just check out how much they want for it...?

i checked their online inventory and i dont see it.....maybe its just not on there since they JUST got it. i'll call sometime today to see what kind of info i can get on it....THANKS for the heads up though ! I just have to wait until this guy buys my car sometime this week like he says he's going to lol

 

They probably have to inspect the car first before they post it online. The color is nice. I don't remember much about it, but there is a picture a page or two back. It's the only red one!

 

oh ok yeah i just saw it a couple of pages back....looks nice...hopefully i'll have one by june...maybe sooner if the right one comes along
