All ready for the BBK Full, after this weather f'n subsides! But I am curious about this BBK-B. I think Chad may still recommend the Full for Road Racing/HPDE events.

Anyone curious about the BBK-B, I would encourage you to still consider the BBK Full. I have had this turbo for a year now and I still LOVE it! It was proven to be the best street/pump gas turbo then and its even more true now. Reliable, fast, and responsive, it is the perfect evo turbo!

Can anyone stateside make a BB CHRA stock frame turbo? I have wanted a BB 16g since 2003 but can't afford Essex turbo or evo 400's prices, shipping and exchange rate.

Why bother? These turbos are super reliable and spool excellently due to the twin-scroll setup on the stock turbine housing.

Right. So adding a BB CHRA to the already super reliable-ness and excellently spooling twin-scroll setup on the stock housing has always been interesting to me. I realize the HP per $ and big power folks may not see it that way but to me anyway it's the missing link between the current stock frame offerings and the smaller t3s for road and autox applications.

I realize I'm a minority and the above mentality is precisely why BB 16gs are not a lucrative business here. However, I still want one. I'm super jealous of the evo X t3s that bolt right into the stock mani and dp.

I've driven a BBK Full powered car and while it was great, I think for the money I want a little more and could deal with the little extra lag for my style of driving. A few years ago I wouldve wanted more low end tq for the twisties but I guess I just dont rip around the way I used to and dont autox anymore. Just want a fast car for the highway now. (getting old) Plus as Chad said they have learned a lot since the intro of the BBK series turbos. I am pretty confident this will still be a fast spooling street turbo with just a bit more added technology to give it a little extra kick. I am certainly willing to wait and find out.
