CBRD- BBK info- NEW turbos, etc...
I ran in the stock appearing class at Englishtown yesterday with my BBK Full...track prep sucked & if you were the 2nd guy to stage the tree guys gave you 2 seconds if your lucky to get your 2 step set...oh well...you can check out my mods in my build thread....runs done on 93 oct and nitto 555 tires....best et was 11.51 & best mph 123mph...
We always run 93 octane,
knock on wood, we have never blown an evo motor... we cracked a ringland one time on one of our shop cars at low 500whp range because of build issues with an engine.
I have a roadrace car here that sees multiple track days each month tuned on 93 with a BBK AND a cat running 28.5ish psi with 56,000 miles on it, STOCK BOTTOM END!
we are not a peak power or drag race company, we build strong street/weekend track cars to take abuse, so sometimes we sacrifice a bit to make something live
hence our track record.
we dont set cars to "kill mode" lol how some describe it.
I am comfortable in the 450whp range on a well taken care of stock block car revving to 8000 rpm with proper valvetrain work!

cbI am still unsure as well. That is why I am not doing a thing until I see a lot more results and reviews and overlays of cars that only went from the Full to the B (and injectors of course). In one hand I fear the lag and transient response changes but in the other hand I hate to drop $3-4k on a turbo and supporting mods, tune, etc. only to gain 30-40whp. So I am leaning toward the B.
