I am still unsure as well. That is why I am not doing a thing until I see a lot more results and reviews and overlays of cars that only went from the Full to the B (and injectors of course). In one hand I fear the lag and transient response changes but in the other hand I hate to drop $3-4k on a turbo and supporting mods, tune, etc. only to gain 30-40whp. So I am leaning toward the B.

well from what i'm being told spool looks like it will be roughly a 250rpm difference between the Full and the B. of course mods and the car will play a role on this. from the stocker to the B its roughly a 400-450 RPM difference. it looks like i will be ordering the B so that i will not have to upgrade soon.

I don't think the difference from stock to Full is 400-450. I think it may be like 100RPM or something. I know the car I drove felt like it spooled slightly FASTER than stock. This was on a VIII though. Chad has commented on this in other threads (spool on VIII vs IX). If the B gives up only 200-250 over the Full then it is not going to feel TOO much different. Probably less than going from stock to aftermarket cams IMO. I am interested to see how the transient response feels on a VIII. The suspense on results is killing me! I remember when the Full came out the Results Thread blew up right away. This is moving slower it seems.

the difference between the full and the stocker is not 400 rpms what i wrote was that the difference between the Full and the B will be roughly 250rpms (depending on mods, etc) and the difference between the stocker and the B should be roughly 400-450 rpms depending on mods, etc. the Full in certain cases can spool just like stock or slighty slower but you have to take into consideration the mods i.e cams, IC, etc of the car and the tune.

i to wish to find out more on this turbo. truthfully transient response is a new term for me lol. never really looked for that. i always considered lag and overall power. hopefully more info can come out to light soon.

Yeah the funny thing with that is sometimes you (meaning people in general) state something a reputable person told you in person or posted months back and that info is now out of date. But whatever. It's the internet so you can only take information on here cautiously anyway. Question everything! lol
