Yes, the posted answer is correct not he BAMF name! haha

There is a list of reasons we are building the 4g64's anymore. It's not that I absolutely will not do one if someone wants it and wants to supply us with cores to build from but it's not a standard offering.

BUMP. Looking forward to getting my evo back!! It is all done, just waiting on the FP Red to come in, takes forever! David warned me of that before I ordered it, so I have been well informed along the way. At this point I figure I'm 2-3 weeks out. 2.3rpm with a FP red and all of the supporting mods I didn't already have. Pump gas, stock ecu. I'm so stoked! Hey David - are there any differences in this engine build now compared to a few years back when you were posting in this forum?

I still post here, just not as often.

The 2.3RPM engine has only under gone one change since the first one was built for my own car, that change is the crank shaft is lighter now than it was originally.

We have bought a lot of 4g64 cores! The 2.4, 2.4LR and the 2.1 have been added back to our suggested builds now that I have access to cores again.

Any of you needing an engine and have a hurt block, the 4g64 really is the most economical option.

Bringing this back to life.

Just want to make a few points when choosing your engine builder.

There are a lot of people who are offering their engines and there will be more to come. Our track record is pretty flawless and approaching 30 years of building the 4g63 engines.

Just for the record

7.32@183, RWD Corolla
7.70@191, AWD DSM
7.81@174.8, RWD DSM
8.09@182.5, AWD EVO
8.51@1554, RWD Conquest
8.72@172.74, AWD EVO

Multiple and numerous Road Racing EVO at the National level and thousands of DSM/EVO's running the streets along with hundreds of engines with in excess of 100,000 miles on them out there runnig strong.

The list of 9 second builds is too long to even put together and if I sat here long enough and gave it some thought I could add to the 7 and 8 second line up.

There are so many other "shops" who offer engine builds now based on their past accomplishments, sadly those accomplishments were done using our engines, heads, cams and ignition packages.

Our engines for the last 26 years have been machined by one local machine shop. The last few years was spent catching mistakes, poor service from them and in the end a large falling out. The accomplishments we've had can't be argued, however, the quality of the engines/heads leaving our facility now is by far superior to anything I have ever experienced before.

I have personally, assembled every single 4g63/4g64 engine that has ever left our shop, every single one and plan to continue to do so.
