Quote: Smoggy, sorry about the late response. Congrats with the numbers and having a running Evo. I guess I have not been as active in the forums as I used to be. Also, I am sure you will kill any STI that wants to try and get some action at the track (that is either on the quarter mile or the twisties).

I wouldn’t exactly say that STIs are slow or can be killed easily. My friend did some serious damage to many EVOS this past week.

He is setup is so simple

FP green turbo
Stock exhaust
880 injectors and intake.
Utech

He hit 315 WHP and 330WTRQ on MachV Dyno which is known to read as low as Dynodynamics (Dynojet)

Chris who was tuned by Shiv scored only 300WHP on their dyno he even made ~307 on Dyno4mance dyno so you see where I am coming from.

My friend tune was at 10.5 AFR and no more than 19 PSI (very safe tune)

A built STI with the right parts can easily be very fast car.

As I have said above with some simple parts his STI can make on TT dyno over 350WHP on pump so you can imagine what would happened with built motor.

if you do some research you will see that there are only like 5 fast usdm stis. compare that to any built evo with a gt35r that runs 10s.

Dynojet = Dynodynamics?

not = of course.

However, their numbers on all cars are by far the lowest on dynojets. Stock EVO on that dyno does not put over 200~210 WHP.

I understand that EVOS are easier to mess with but that does not mean that STIs are slow.

My friend STI is pretty fast with minimal mods and tune.

Dynojets read the highest among the most popular dyno types, not the lowest.

Why would you upgrade a turbo without having a tbe exhaust, FMIC, fuel pump or injectors? If this was possible every clown on evom would just bolt on a GT35.

I am sorry but you are wrong.

Your %15 claim on the dynodynamics is not valid sir. All dynojets or most read only %7 to %10 higher than your dyno if that.

ATP dyno for instance reads only %7 higher than your dyno and its still Dynojet right?

MachV dyno reads extremely low. It’s probably the way it’s been setup

For example some Mustang dynos read higher than your dyno. However, some read lower.

Good luck bud

I have no idea if you are referring to STIs or EVOs but not every car is the same.

Have you considered that some people like to stick with the quite stock exhaust for example?

I believe that the less parts you have on your car the more reliable it will be (in most cases). When you add performance parts on your car you should look for the part that adds the most amount of power with great reliability. That could range from a turbo by itself to only an exhaust on some cars.

If you have any questions on how to add performance parts to your car feel free to pm.

No more hijacking

Please go away to your new home: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/fo...play.php?f=108
Everyone knows that dynojets read between 12 to 15 percent higher than DynoDynamics. You are making a complete fool of yourself coming on to this forum and thread, going completely off topic, and making up complete bullcrap-nonsense. Go the hell away.

At least I'll qualify for my warranty with my stock exhaust
