HEllo Every one on the EVO forums.

This is Co owner and Spoke Person of the TEAM DST E36 M3, who Enter the American Touge 2

I was very happy Best motoring let our car got pick for the American Touge2, I was very Exciting for the event.

A little bit of event Thought. MM.. well the time manage was not very good. IT delate almost 2 hr. when the finalest annouse, it was 2-3hr behind origional time table....

I dont blame them for not picking OUR car to Final Touge show down. Clearly Our car handel Amazing. Acccoarding To MR.Tsuchiya and MR KAZAMA. The car Is very very Blance No understeer or over Steer, and brake is Good alsos, but We are under power, we can Blame on our weight( our M3 is one of heaver car in NA RWD compare to AE86 or Miata) ? or not a fully build engine( no stand along ECU just some basically bolt on with 3.5) ? MR Tsuchiya Rate this CAR 95 If the car got The power he desire, but since we are under power he rate 88, but this is higest point in NA RWD. The AE86s that power by S2000 engine. got some handel problem. From my limit Japanese, Full function AE86. suffer understeer and un stable rear end, he said not a perfect car for Time attack or I.D. Sytle chase race I rember the point is 85. THE Techno Toy 86. suffer with no steering feeback. is more suitable for drift then Time attack or I.D. Sytle chase race . got 80 points.

When they say they are going to outlaw the Semi slick DOT( Hoosier, or hankook or Kumho V710). ANd right after that they did not put our car in final show down. That make people think we have one of Semi Slick DOT tires user that why we got kick out. That is wrong. WE are using Nitto Newest Street legal DOT Tires NT01. So I was stand there and very very confusing , and wodering, Finally one of guy from Zigzag ASIA told me , they will do a special Time attack for OUR CAR and XS GTR. well MR KAZAMA got to drive our car, HE did a Amazine 1:05.xx that is already faster then last year SC NSX Time... he also like this car a lot, he said this car is very easy to drive and handel well, and chassic is set up close to perfect. you can able to WOT on most part of course.

Well that did not change we did not got pick for Final show down.. but They did pick XS GTR.

Clearly XS GTR is very very fast they run like 1:01 or 00, so even they run none SEMI slick DOT. they could score very good time too, and their car a look more interesting and they are very well know Tuner shop in SCA... Compare to them WE just a Nobody come from no where We are know how meida work they going to pick one of most interest subject.... BTW that GTR got fully inter, but that car do got 600WHP and had 275 Semi slick DOT tires

here is the event should go. Our car should still go to the final show down, Even thought we might loose, but we will loose in style and honor. and they should do a special show down for the car did not win class but is very good ( ex VIVI RX-8 and Vishnu EVO.) and finalest will race with SC NSX. but sice The event was delate for about 3hr, They got no option to do this....

I was Still very happy, not because we win the class. Is because, all the time I spend dial in our M3 is all Worth, We did not use any fancy custom part, every thing is off shelf. just A lot of SEAT time and R&D. and the Commont from MR.Tsuchiya and MR.KAZAMA just make our day

I am look forward for Next American Touge next year. Hope every one enjoy the event and keep support Best motering like I do

Final I need to thank Nitto Tires. Their NT01 is very very good. Tons of grip and require very little warm up time. and also very easy control at their limit

Also thanks To Ground Control for their Suspension PARTS and MA Shaw for a Compost body part and

ii had a 95 obd1 e36 m3 before my evo and i loved the car.. i had teh bilstein pss9 coil overs, shrick cams, active auto werke full exhaust and test pipe, giac ecu, ecis intake, euro hfm, teh active autowerke turbo clutch and acouple other mods.. the car was fantastic, and so balanced i wish i could have tracked it before i crashed it. (in the pouring rain on a032rs)

i loved the car especially for back road racing.. it was ahrd to beat.

You know, Tsuchiya almost makes Dustin look big , seriously though, it's good to see that you guys did so well. Its good to see such a stock appearing car putting a hurtin on the competition. I definitely know what suspension i will be goin with in the spring, looks like its almost time for my semi-annual road trip to the bay area. Congrats again on an outstanding performance

Haha! 8 Rules, and TWO of them are "you can not run slicks". What a bunch of tools.

Great performance, and thanks for sharing the photos of the other guys' cars as well.

*EDIT* There is a thread going on the Best Motoring Forum about the event. Be sure to make yourself heard. (without sounding like a bunch of Evo fanboys )

Shiv - I am glad you posted on that other forum. I deleted the shop name cause that forum is well known for all the kids on it. I didn't want to start another "tuner shop" war on there. At least they know you guys had a beast out there.

Congrats everyone! Wish i could've checked it out with you guys but 1) i didn't know about it and 2) didn't know if it was open to the public.

the socalevo.net hating, and all the excuses that come along with it, can only last for so long.
