You're too optimistic. Nothing will change. As far as socalevo.net is concerned, the event never even happened

it would of considering that due to engine failure last year vishnu didn't get to run and topsetup was picked out of the other cars in the parking lot. great job though. i talked to topsetup charlie yesterday right after the touge he said there was going to be some controversy in the all wheel class. again great job and i still say a skyline does not belong in the american touge even on street tires. but what do i know i sold my evo. thanks.

It was out there cutting some good times. But when it came in there was some engine issue. We all were hoping that it was just a loose IC hose which is a pretty fashionable failure as far as we are concerned Unfortunately, there was an undetermined engine internal issue that proved to be terminal. Still, they had a strong showing and the drivers really liked the car. John should be proud.

Congrats to the Vishnu crew for tuning the fastest 4wd car.

I was wondering how Navid's relatively stock motored Evo fared?

Thanks for everyone's enthusiasm and kind words, It really means a lot to us. We had a great time doing this event, and that great time started the moment we left, until the point we got back. Here is a little picture time line of the event.

Load up ya'll.

Leif lives in a van down by the river.

I think that is one of them lancer evolutions behind us. OMG it's the street king himself!!!

Shiv, what are you working on....what do you mean evom can't see? Must be some sort of terrorist attack or something?

Full Function Sean is planning a terrorist attack with his face.

But dont worry everyone....I'm not ACTUALLY the Unabomber.

We have made it... ... ... To Carls Jr.

Seriously this time we made it.... to yet another Carls Jr. But this time, only the drive thru is open, and we walked, so we tried to jump on the sensor, to make them think we were a car. It didnt work. left to right> Leif, Shiv, Street King, Egg Eric.

So, Calvin brought the support vehicle...

Leif looks so sad...maybe because we have 4 people in the back seat, or maybe because Shiv is rejecting his advances.

See what I mean?

After a good night sleep......Full Function Jerry is a Jolly man.

Ah yes, the life of a street king. McDonalds at dawn.

Red Sky morning, American Touge take warning.

Allow me to take a moment to say that we enjoy John Muller's trailer. A lot.

Fender envy

Tire Envy

Wing Envy...times two.

Damn I look good in a bathing suit.

Project Mu

I think I need to at least get a boost gauge in my car.

"We thought you were bringing a modded car?" "Umm yeah, I think it has some mods?"

"Woah guys...this things got an air bag!"

It moves a little boys and girls.

Aright guys....seriously...bring it in....no, really.

Ummm. Yeah. Skyline tires.

At the end of the day, we all knew everything was gonna be alright, because FF sean tried to kiss me.

...And we drove it home.

No need to imagine, they should've let John bring his racecar ... then we'd have seen a serious smackdown, I'd bet.

It was truly a team effort with everyone doing what they do best. Take away any one component and the car may not have become what it is today. The goal was to make the ultimate street car that anyone would be happy living with on a day-to-day basis. And thanks to the crew, we think we accomplished that. And this just makes it a better for our customers who want the same.

On that note Shiv, I'd say have it entered in the SCC USCC next year, but you know what, it isn't flash enough, not "Fast and the Furious" enough to get voted in. So sad, since it'd probably clean house...
