jfh and i set ours at -3 deg. per shiv's recommendation in anticipation of our tuning day. i just finished helping nastea put his 272/272 cams in and we left them at 0 deg - he doesn't have an xede and is tuning his car with fuel or something and dynofrash, so until he gets a tune we decided to leave the cams at 0 deg. still makes awesome power!

They told me -2,-2. Not installed yet so what's going on

I got my Stage 1+ (waiting on XFlash), and I got the 264/272 (of course). The idle is not bad specially after the -2/-2 timing. The power delivery is awesome as well. Im starting to like the lumpy idle.
I wonder if I should have gone to HKS 272. Any thoughts?

I went with the 272 intake and exhaust. They are getting installed Thursday along with the rest of my stage 1+ (except for the Xede wich I am hoping to get this week or early next week in time for the dyno day). I went with the 272's for more power and it will be one less thing I have to install when the stage 2 comes out

I have no idea, never did a cam install due to the horror stories.
I made my own tool and I installed everything for the stage 1+ last night. Started at 7:00 p.m. and finished at 1:00 a.m. I went from stock to stage 1+ with 272i/272e in five hours! I dont know if I can describe the difference with out using the word "dude" and the phrase "kicks ***!" multiple times in my assesment. This is all butt dyno thoughts untill I get it dyno tuned next Saturday. It pulls much harder all the way to red line in every gear. It does have a loopy idle, but the flash and custom tune should help eliminate most of it. With that said it has a great deep idle sound. All of the componets are high quality with a great finish. Grinding down your cam gear cover is a must! Before I forget " dude, this car kicks ***! "
I am working off of 4 hours of sleep so forgive me if I dont make any sense. On the inside of the cam gear cover there are 2 plastic raised circles. Normaly on stock gears these circles rest inside the gears. With the Vishnu gears the circles rub on the inside portion of the gears. It makes a god awfull noise. Using a dremel or a air grinder you can easily take care of it.
