Hallett was awesome! Well worth the $10 admission. All those that didn't play hookey and come out missed out! Watching the White STi, the leader inthe Mid Price Sedan clss right now take a corner or two rally style with big rooster tails was entertaining. Shiv and Paul looked like they were holding up very well. Got 3+ hours of footage, lots of pics on the camera, and ltos of pics taken from the cell. The STi slip up should knowck the gap down a good amount to ensure tomorrows event at Road America guarantees them the class victory.

Good day. So many nice folks, Nice Cars, and the weather could not have been better. Got a great tan/burn.. But 22 hours, 666.4 miles round trip from garage to Hallet back to garage and I am tired. But all on 18 gallons in the slocus was nice. I never thought I would get in the 30mpg range, but 2am-7am at a constant 85mph for 98% of that entire 5 hour drive on empty Indian Reservation Turnpikes made it more than possible.. Wow.. Now back to the normal 20mpg full throttle commute in the AM.

While going clockwise they made the u turn at the left side of the picture and blasted up the short straight, when they came to the next 70 degree left - downhill and off camber they were too hot with a long pedal and went straight. Broke a radiator and were able to get it fixed in Tulsa and are presumably on their way again.

long pedal and went straight is just the half of it. The audi hit the first tire wall catapulting it over the second. It literally jumped the tire barrier using the first as a ramp. Kinda cool, but kinda sucky for them. Glad to hear its continuing on.

Do you have any shots from the rear of the car? Ie - looking at the license plate?

If I remember right, they just stick the license plate in the back window. The hitch goes straight through where the license plate should be!

I guess towing a trailer is one area where being in the truck/suv class really helps .... I mean, what does that porsche do (let alone the minis)?
