I still did not complete the install. but I wanted to know is the green light stay on since the time you start the car or only when the spray is on? after I talked to a snow tech "Our systems do not need to be fused because the controllers have internal circuit breakers. This does however create the same condition you’re mentioning (loss of power to controller and pump). Unfortunately that is one down side to our SafeInjection. You can wire the SafeInjection to a dedicated 12 volt source however it will always be detecting a loss in flow when ever the system isn’t injecting and it would limit your boost by means of the wastegate solenoid" I will be using my AVC-R to control when I will go on high boost and for how long the rest of time it will not go over 23 just in case of...

Of course they are internally fused, mainy high grade electronics are now a days, it eliminates a lot of warrantee work for a company when people are trying to install things and do not wire it correctly...it is still a good idea to put a fuse inline with the kit as an added procaution though, as I do on all the cars I install it for...the other thing is if the controller is internally fused that if its set off it only takes a quick second to have it up and working again...the chances of the SI not working when the pump goes bad or some other loss of flow is highly highly highly unlikely...just do a search, snow kits are one of the safest kits on the market and with the addition of the safe injection there is very little to worry about...hope that helps your confusion and if you have any questions please call me at 914 447 2600 and ask for Dan...

Anyone running the 2D kit? I've installed the stage 2 maf kit on a couple of local turbo 5.0's and SC'd cobras with great success. I just have no experience with the 2D kit and if it offers any real world benefit over the regular MAF based kit. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

They work great, there are several members on the board here running them, its just most owners go with the boost based because they plan on going bigger than stock turbo which requires the loss of maf in most cases...

im using the 375cc nozzle ... i have my pump turned up a little higher than it came as you know.. after my first couple logs it didnt seem rich enough for the addition of meth so i turned up the pump and it got rich... i turned it up again.. and it got rich... to the point where it wasn't getting any richer. its not up all the way, but its nearly there.

did i do something wrong or is that normal?

and ive noticed it really use's a lot of the meth.. i did about 6 WOT logs and the tank dropped about an inch. is that normal?
