hmm, i use the jdm mr bov, maybe that has something to do with it, when you run through the gears to 5th does it still have the issue or is it just when you take off in 5th from a roll...

I called forge and they said that he had never heard of an evo9 running that much boost on the stock gate. I even turned the adjustment all the way which is good for more the 38 psi

Well I found out the the duty on my AVC-R was lower then it should be. Now it's holding 29 psi until 5800 rpm and after that it fall to 25.

should be the power from the relay that leads to the pump, connect a wire to it and add 12v to see if she spits or just disconnect the top connector of the boost pressure source and connect that to a 12v to see she shudders

take the red wire ( power wire ) and connect it to a hot wire. Make sure that the black wire is grounded. Pretty simple actually. DO NOT RUN THIS LONGER THAN A SECOND OR TWO WITHOUT FLUID IN THE SYSTEM. Just long enought to hear it "prime" or pump for a 1/2 second. Should be instantaneous when the red wire receives power.
