He was trading his car in was the reason, I still declined. They had like 60k miles on them and that was the main concern I had, didnt want to rebuild them.
Flex's will be good by me though since I'm not a hard core track nut like you though

Oh ya man they are fine. Like I said I turned them down because they had an untold amount of miles, but it was like at least 60k. I just dont like any JDM coilovers because they have no travel. The only good ones are Ohlins, those are the **** but super expensive. If I had my way I'd be rockin penske's but I dont have 10 grand lol. Im a suspension and tire ***** through and through, if any of you ever want to talk tire Im always down!

If you drag race, and you want a bolt on stock turbo, I would go FP Red. Actually I have a buddy down in vegas that road races with a built GSC 2.2 and he has the red. He swears buy it, says its amazing and doesnt spool much later then his 20g9-5blade (the precursor to the green). His name is Nils, and hes kind of a big deal in the road race community haha.

If you want to really start making power, get a 35r. Would have to go AEM EMS at that point, but would make a ton more power. 35r's with EMS are very streetable, Ive rode in a few down in Vegas that were 10 second cars but daily driven with no problems.

You do know a green is not that much bigger then your stock turbo right? I mean its a good turbo dont get me wrong, but about the only difference is stock IX is effecient to about 25psi while a green is efficient up to about 29-30psi. If you dont plan on running that high of boost, you wasted money hehe. You would have made more power by buying a nice set of cams to be honest. I have friends in the 11's with cosi's, intake, and turbo back exhaust/test pipe with a tune by me on 100 octane in Vegas.

I have the Green on my VIII. Between the 2 I think you made the right choice. I've been reading up on the BBK and it seems you should either go for the Full BBK or just go Green as the lite doesn't seem to make much more power than a IX turbo. The Red would have been ideal since you drag race, but I think you'll be happy with the green. Also if you decide to go with meth or race gas down the road you should be able to hit high 10's with a green, but low 11's would be more feasible.

Just FYI, and I don't condone street racing, but with my set up I pulled 4 cars on a 2005 Porsche Turbo up to 140 and then I stopped.

Good choice on the green, you'll be plenty happy. Many users of the green have been able to make huge numbers with that turbo. But I want to see the Red's performance, so Ive recently purchased the FP Red + Cosworth M2's and once installed, will post results.
