haha thanks dallin, i'm looking forward to your new build for sure. yeah, unlimited awd, i run varying slicks, usually whatever i can find as take offs at the time. pirelli/yokohama/michelin are the most common, easy to find in the 245 range (front porsche cup tires) but i run the 275-295 range now, depends on the brand.

Thanks I am excited for mine as well. I just need to settle on a Turbo and fuel setup I will more than likely be in Ulimited awd as well, but not running as good of tires as you I have around 30 Tires saved up and I will be running BFG R1's or Hoosier R6 tires. I could have got a good deal on the Porche Cups, but opted for the not as good ones because it was a screaming package deal on all of those ones

I need wide body again so I can run the Cup rears

Hey all. I just picked up a 1G Talon TSI to add the the Japanese stable of cars at my house. This will be my first turbocharged car and I look forward to using it at a learning platform.

Are there any GOOD DSM tuners/shops it Utah that would be familiar with ECM Link and the cars in general. I am not looking for a 1000 hp DSM build. The car has a Evo 3 16G with the stock injectors. My plan is to find some Evo 8/9 550 injectors, do a 2G MAF conversion, and tune with ECM Link or another solid source. I want to have a nice street tune that makes the car a little quicker but still within the safe limits of the engine.

If anyone can give any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. I would love to be able to swing by a shop and have someone familiar with DSMs help me structure the best path for the car.

Thanks in advance.

If you need any work done on these I can recommend my Dad's shop as he worked as a Mitsubishi Technician back when Barber Brothers Mitsubishi was in Orem for about 7 years. He worked on these all the time in the 90's and knows them mechanically pretty well and he is the only one other than myself that works on my Evos

As far as tuning I would recommend Alex at Zip Tie as he has a DSM and Evo and is the tuner there

You're the man! I think I need NOS though. My car topped out at 140mph driving it home last night.

Anyone going out to Miller tomorrow (besides Wes and I) for any of the many events going on out there? We'll be there for EURO SL,UT fest. http://euroslutfest.com/

There's also NASA races, Lap Battle Time Attack (both run by the same people I believe) and Iron Man Karting competition.

We are looking forward too seeing all who can make it out at Miller Motorsports Park tomorrow for Lap Battle Round 5.

Kirill and JT will be out an about taking some photos so make sure you say hi to them and remember to drink lots of water and wear some sunscreen as the forecast is calling for a hot one

And look for a few improvements on this car as well

Thanks,
Dallin
