Save yourself some money. If your goal really is ONLY 350-400, get a stock IX turbo, and switch to E-85. I assume you are doing all supporting mods to get there (ie. intake, exhuast, cams, and fuel pump). Criddle did those exact mods and made 380 at the wheels on Munoas Dyno. If you can get a green for a good price then go for it. But I would save your money until you realize 350 ain't enough and you want 450. Then you'll want the FP Red.

Just a friendly reminder for those who want to go cruisin tomorrow. There is a meet at 10:30 a.m. at sugarhouse park. Anything with wheels is more than welcome to come.

Agreed, if u really want to be (and stay) right around 400whp I'd stick with the 9 turbo (and e85) otherwise just go all the way for the red. Bobby's car feels great with that fp red on 91 oct.

e85 you need a pump and at least 1000cc injectors. you will be maxing the evo 9 turbo to get those numbers in utah, i think you would need a fp green or 20g to get 400 awhp at this altitude

Evo ix turbos are good for street setups to be honest I wasn't that much more impressed with my ported green vs stock ix turbo. I'm actually going back to ix turbo ported with 2.2l maybe I'll go with 35r or red down the road

Damn you
why would you go with a stock turbo with a built bottom end? A green is a pretty big jump over stock 9 turbo IMO

im going external , internal is FTL

Why ?? Because the evo ix turbo was $0.00 and after spending thousands of dollars on a built bottom end and building the head I'm pretty sure I'm going to be broke and not have thousands of dollars laying around to pay for a big turbo kit..that's why I said for now I will use the evo ix turbo and have josh port it for me. Instead of having a big turbo on a stock block I decided to start with a built motor instead..pretty simple idea if ya ask me
