Who know this is a SHOP EVO were talking about. If you NON BELIEVERS would make an effort to actually come down to the shop it might open your eyes sense some cant READ. Just putting that out there, try and give some class and support to someone that is going to do alot for Evo owners and let alone the Utah owners. All he wants is looking to having some fun and making some sick Evos from the shop. And for any of you people that dont know him should get to real fast trust me you'll be glad you did.

I beg to differ, I have 20* intake temps at 42psi with nitrous cooling the (liquid) in my air/water intercooler on 104* days. Dynos think you're getting ambient air so the hp numbers are higher. I haven't even gone nuts yet, stage 2 is alcohol/dry ice for intake temps in the -115 range. Do you know how much density you recover with those kinds of intake temps, let alone timing you can run, lower octane number required, thermal loading is reduced, and detanation is a joke!
Here is something else to think about.
All exhaust flow calc's are calculated at a 25" of water table flow sheet......so
Now assuming a proper test at 25" of water then the most any 2.5" Pipe could flow, even if 100% efficient, is 138 x 4.9 = 676 CFM. A perfectly efficient 3" pipe could flow 138 x 3 x 3 x pi / 4 = 975 CFM.
A stock EVo comes with a 3" maf. I would assume then with the small restriction of the maf, the max flow through a 3" maf would be around 950 cfm give or take.
What is then the max HP one could make assuming you still have the 3" maf as a restriction?
How about someone else take over here and calculate the hp you can make with 950 cfm assuming 90% efficiency on a VE table.

1.5cfm = 1.0hp
950cfm/1.5= 633.3333hp
633.3333 x .9 = 569.99997hp

My friend steve with his 2.3 with ams 35r (now blown) made 680whp on a mustand dyno with q16 at only 33psi...on a mustand dyno! With 27psi on 100oct it made like 570 or 580 something like that. When he had a stock block 35r he made 511whp on a dynojet with 28psi 100oct. Its all about a fully built motor ftw
I'm not sure with the hta35r kit how much power you'll make jason but Adam has that dyno you could find out
not sure who's gonna tune it for ya
