Why would I stay out of this debate?
It's way too funny.

Jason I hope your not thinking this is a personal attack are you?

I don't!
I just think there are a lot of people on here that can't read and don't understand physics!
Density/horsepower is a 1:1 ratio so if you gain 18% in density you will gain 18% horsepower! Fact... Lowering you air intake temps raise horsepower! Fact...
Plain and simple if you have air/air and you switch to air/water you will gain horsepower... now if you're stupid like me and try to push the limits of a particular setup you will be doubted, I understand everyones point that doubts me. None of them understand mine! I gained a **** load of horsepower by going to extreme lengths to cool my intake temps. I wouldn't recommend running a setup like mine unless you know what the **** you are doing. Some people are just going to have too wait until i'm done with my build, anyone that doubts me can stop by the shop anytime i'm there! I have a few books you can look at and learn about air density and how it relates to horsepower, ONR, detination. I'm at work so we can continue later!

+1. This isn't a "my dick is bigger than yours" conversation. Grown men are just debating.

I hope no disrispect is taken from me either. Just a guy with skeptisism. Buy I love Jason.

Jason are u using a map or maf still?

My civic ran 11.6 @130mph on 23psi on a t4-T67 at RMR, I actually have time slips and dyno sheets...
You have nothing to prove your point.

Maybe for a 10 second run, but after 30 minutes out on track the air/air will be making more power. To each their own.

Look on Buschur racings web page, if you go to there big intercooler they gained 50+hp on a 600hp car (and that's on an inefficeint air/air intercooler, no other changes). Ask him what his intake temps are, they're not 20*. Like i said before i don't give a ****ing **** if you believe me...
Like others have said, I am not attacking you in any way, so don't take it that way

Well, the Buschur scenario isn't exactly an "apples to apples" comparison, the info he gives is pretty vague. There are too many variables..He could have replaced a restrictive front mount (e-bay?) with that unit & gained airflow.

Yes, I can read.

Yes, I understand physics.

Yes, I am fully aware of how air density plays a roll.

I know you said "i don't give a ****ing **** if you believe me", however, I would love to see you prove everybody wrong...I think that would be some cool ****.
We just don't think that little snail has it in it.

my car made 400awhp i have the dyno sheet to prove it, you are all *****es hahahahah

what exact 3076 turbo is this? is this the one that bolts up to a stock manifold like the atp3076? those will not flow enough air to produce over 500awhp. Jason your list says you have nitrous to, so that is going to add a bit of power as well

i was looking into getting the atp3076 but it wasn't enough for what i wanted to do, besides that turbo isn't efficient past like 30-33lbs. FP red will make more power

My point is this argument is pointless without it being done and ready to go. I can make assumptions all day about sh*t and until it happens thats all it is.

Yeah, but Joe said to me that Evo's were super unreliable, and then his NSX burst into flames.

Now I don't claim to know cars (or drag racing) well enough to claim what HP or times/ET that anyone should be able to do. But I can verify that on RA-1s on a fairly hot day Jason was able to get his tires loose pretty easily. Certainly through part of 1st and from shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd.

Physics, education, prove my point!
Did you build your car yourself? or did your pocketbook?
My 1971 Porsche 914 ran faster than that when i broke an axle!

im not trying to turn this into a lil kid fight. im just saying that this is getting way out of control for the situation. i know we all have our differences and dislikes and likes on cars, setups, turbos, non turbos, etc. i just think that instead of breaking the guy down maybe we should support him. i have known jason for about 2 years now. when i first saw his car it was basically stock besides a exhaust, and 7 months later when i saw his car at autorama it was completely different. i just think that since we are all from the same area and love the evos we should back each other up and support one another. i know that if we were all to get together and put our heads together we could build one mean machine. oh and by the way my name is Oscar Silva i drive a tb evo9 from ogden.
