evo, s2000, asphault = fun too
I've heard of little saraha, and the west desert, and whatever the heck the "sand dunes" are... those are the "cool" high school kids vacation spots

really small dunes, lots of witch eyes, and unsurmountable numbers of drunks on atvs/motorcycles = the dangerous downfall of Scott at little sahara. St. Anthony is much better IMHO

St Anthony's is the sh*t. But alittle far. I don't deal with all the idiots out there at Sand Mountain(Little Sahara), we left at 4:30 in the am to get there, ride and then leave before the crowds of drunkin hill billies showed up

.....................and NO i was not one of the drunkin hillbillies

So, I have a question about my car:

I was driving state late tonight, and I came acrossed a 2.7 liter TT Audi S4. We did a couple of little tiny runs (I didn't want to take it too high on state of all places). Most of them I didn't really launch, but on one I took off at ~3000rpms. The thing is, I couln't pull this S4. I asked the guy if he had anything done and he said it was stock. I know they're fast, but they should be at least a little slower than me.

Here's the kicker: there was also a Subaru 2.5RS. I was able to pull on him (thank god), but not by as much as I would have thought. I asked him if he had slapped a turbo on it (I couldn't believe a stock one would keep up like it did), and he said no.

So I'm starting to think I may have a boost leak or something. The butt-dyno seems to check out, but I can't believe what happened tonight.

So whadyall think?

Yeah, I'd agree ('cause I actually did grind 2nd once tonight, funny because it hasn't happened in a long time), except it wasn't my shifting. I couldn't pull when I was just flooring it in gear.

evo problem or is it just me?

drove the evo around the block today. it feels slooooooooo compared to b4 (it wasn't that fast to begin with)

boost is fine... 24lbs.

could it be bad gas? the gas in it was from chevron in wendover. chevron gas is chevron gas isn't it?

or am i just gettin use to it? if that's the case the modding's goin begin again. otherwise the car will be up 4 sale. what do you think i could sell it for?
