me & scott never did a full pull next to each other he just got on it behind me up the onramp his car is pretty fast though! i probably gain 20 to 40whp with my race gas tune, pump gas just sucks asssssssssssss. i bet if scott turned up the boost a little & put the race gas in he would be suprised on how weel the 4g63 likes the high octane!
my pump gas map is the factory fuel settings because of the knock situation it seems like the custom reflash is where you guys will really make good power!

I wish Zach and I could have gotten to do a good highway pull, but it seemed as if every car in Utah was on the Highway at the wrong time!

i think the utec sucks donkey ***** personally! the screens remind me of a atari or something, to each his own though if you love it that's cool!

scott i'm pretty sure there were a million people on the freeway! scott you should put in some race gas & turn up the boost to 22 and you will see how fun race gas is. your mail in tune would be fine doing that.

I used to put in a tank of 100 octane once a month. There is a place near my house that sells unleaded 100@$4.75/gallon. I would usually put about 7-10 gallons in and get 95-97 octane mix and she ran like a banshee but....................that started getting expensive. I haven't doen it since the flash. Maybe once the weather gets better I will throw some in.

BTW race gas will lower my egt's won't they?

I was only able to run two more psi (26) with 100 octane, and when I tried to advance the timing I started seeing knock. IMO 100 octane is not worth the money. You can buy 110 for .25cents a gallon more, and you can get a lot more performance, until you run over 28psi and have problems with misfire!!

by the way Zach, I have an AEM coming!!!!!!!

sweet rob i'll check it out when you get it up & running!!!

msm you can buy 110 or (c16)117 which i like, @ dalsoglio right off 7200 s & 3rd west or so. c16 is like 8 bucks a gallon but it is the best ever for the 4g63

It's leaded, I don't have cat's, so pretty much the only things that suffer are my wide band and narrow band oxygen sensor's.

I've been told that the honda motors react better to VP110 than VP c-16. I think my problem with VP fuels is that the burn rate is so low, the wasted spark setup just doesn't create a powerful enough spark to ignite the fuel on time thus causing missfire. Bushur, and Dynoflash (Al) have experienced this from what i've read. It's just too bad that the damn coil on plug setup is $1000 My $1000's have all run out

I guess i'm just going to have to try the RED-X brand fuel that is supposed to have basically the same chemical break down as Comp 110 which worked very well in my car. I need to find out what exactly AMS is doing to control their ingnition so well without the coil-on-plug setup.
