Quote: I heard that Eficker charges $200 per hour!! Was that an exageration?????
Yes and no. If I dont want to work on your car, or I think it will be a huge PITA, then it is $200 an hour. If its not too crazy, with stock injectors, its just $100 not an hour, just $100.

Quote: I made that happen. Kinda. I gave Sunne all the GT Live info and she presented it to the MMP people and they were like " that's cool, we should try and get them to come here in 2007"!

jid2 FTW!

STOMPER = Durka Durka Sweet Bro Lets Race on State Street in Orem This Sunday.

REAL RACING = MMP.

Simmer... I'm just screwing with you. efick plays with *****.
Simmer down now. lol. Everyone thank the drink for bringing GTLive to Utah. Thanks Drink. Now lets see if you can grow a pair and get you and your pile down here to see what those KW's are made of.

Quote: Eficker, didn't you just figure out how to use openECU a few months ago? Now you're charging for tunes? Just curious, how much tuning experience do you have outside of your short time with openECU?
I don't claim to be the most experienced tuner in the country, but I do know a bit. I started with my turbo integra. Going from NA and obd0 to turbo and obd1 i learned a lot in the process. It cost me a motor (only one, due to tuning anyway), but some lessons have to be learned the hard way.

I have tuned quite a few Hondas, the occaisional Subaru, and of course our cars.

I've only been playing with ECUFlash for 6 or 8 months, but am proficient at AEM, Crome, Cobb's Street Tuner, etc. Most softwares are very similar, free, proprietary, they all have the same basic functions and work about the same.

So although I am new to ECUFlash (I guess, its only been out for a month or two before i started playing with it) I have about 3 years experience tuning.

I really do not need the money, so if anyone does not feel comfortable with me or my skills, my feelings will not be hurt. I just enjoy doing it, and feel like if I can hook up my friends or associates then I might as well. I like to figure things out for myself, and would recommend it to others.

There are at least two people that regularly post in this thread that are happy customers on multiple cars.

Hahahah, I haven't seen the "Rich ole douchebag" on a roll like that for quite some time!!!

Eficker, what is your experience with an AEM, just curious. The fact that you offer to tune on a dyno is definately a step of from the dynodouche!!

You guy's shouldn't be to quick to discredit Mike though (03gsr) you'd be better off making friends with him, I don't know too many car guys that know what he does, most of the 800whp utah camp would tell you the same thing.

I hope it wasn't me, but if I did by accident I apologize. I try not to discredit people that I don't really know...lol. I think that we should perhaps all get together and meet up somewhere though. Perhaps at fast kart, where the odds are evened out. It'd be fun to meet everyone face to face.

I tuned Stomper's Civic on AEM. I have also played with it on a couple of other cars. I do not claim to be any kind of expert, but most of the time I can get it figured out if there is something weird going on. One of my buddies is factory trained, and he is down here too if anyone has a need. I would probably send AEM work his way, although he is a little more money. Like I said, i just enjoy doing it.

Yeah, tuning on the dyno has its perks. Its also quite convenient when your buddy owns one...lol. I like to do both however, even if the street driving is nothing but a little logging, just to make sure.

That's cool. It sounds like it will be good fun. Plus the track time is CHEAP!

its up north quite a way but their carts have like 4 more hp than the fast carts and they actually maintain the carts at speed street so it is way more fun i think it is in layton or something... we should organize something

2001 Lancer es with evolution VIII body kit.

That is funny. It would be funnier if I didn't see this guy today with a black lancer ES with one of our wings. I was laughing pretty hard. The thing is, it actually didn't look too bad.

Sounds good! I'm down for anything. Looks like we will have quite the turn out for GT Live.

Thanks for bringing GT Live to Utah Trevor and I went back in 04 and loved it.

Question for people that have run out @ MMP
I'm sure you have to remove "loose" items from the car.......is a laptop ok if it's strapped down? I'd like to get a log or two recorded if possible.

I just planted the seed brothers

Just like I planted the EVO seed in all of you boys 2 years ago when I would come out once in a blue moon and P0W3N you at the track with EVO PowA I used to hear all this my Honda this, and Nissan that, and Suba-who? Now everyone has finally seen the light

jid2>all of the UC combined @ MMP

PS, did any of you boners get lap timers and figure out what your west track lap times were? You guys have been out to the track so many times - you should know your west-side lap times.
