Custom SRI???

Alright everybody...
I am really wanting a sri but I have a problem...I have no money. I have a freebie cone filter and was wondering if anyone has made their own intake and how you did it. Ive looked at the MAS and that is the only problem I am running into...If anyone had some pics or suggestions that would be awesome.

Cut the mas tube off the stock air box, mount a 2.5" cone filter on the end of it, done. This way, you have no probs with the mas... since its still on the factory tube. You could probably get away without even taken the mas off the tube while you cut, if you are careful (I hear those screws are a bugger).

taking the mafs out isn't hard, it's attaching it back to a custom setup without any leaks that can be a bugger! just a MINUTE vacuum leak sets the CEL.
