the codes are standard across the auto industry, obdII. and deleting any emissions sensitive equipment will cause a CEL.

All kinds of things can set it off. You need to get your code pulled, then you'll know what's causing it.

most likely it is a lean code caused by your air intake

Figured I'd share, as it's pretty much on topic. I got a Harbor Freight flyer in the mail today, and it looks like they have their cheap-*** OBDII code readers on sale for $39. Only downside to one this cheap is that it won't reset the code for you, at least they don't advertise that it will, so maybe I'm wrong.

Does anyone else think making this code list a stickey would be a good idea? I know the search button is held sacred but sometimes a simple click would be great too. Just chiming in for now, I haven't had any codes thrown yet but wouldn't mind having a handy refference online since I have a tendency to lose any paperwork that comes w/ electronics these days!

The codes are universal for all OBDII cars, so a quick google search will yield the full list.

I've installed CAI and axleback exhaust from RRM. Anybody experience Service Engine Soon light come on . I've had it checked out. It was a system too lean code. What should I do to fix the problem?

I have an AEM CAI and it didn't cause any CEL problems at all.

Go over your CAI installation, make sure you installed everything correctly, the clamps are tight, and the MAF sensor is in correctly. Once you're sure of that, reset your ECU by disconnecting your battery for 10 minutes.

Check your MAF too, be sure you didn't hit it too hard or anything during installation, maybe pop it out and make sure there's no debris on it.
