Update...apparently replacing the camshaft and intake manifold is more involved than I realized. Car may not be done today.

Only thing that I could see being time consuming is redoing timing marks. Pulling the mani and cam isn't to difficult.

Cam install is easy. Gotta go valve adjustment after. The intake mani is just time consuming.

Before I post numbers a few things to note.

- Dyno Dynamics is the WORSE dyno to pull on if you're looking for high numbers. It's a tuners dyno and as such it reads really low.
-Mivec changeover now sounds more like a Vtec....it cracks!!!! I will take a video of this tomorrow so you can hear.
-
This was a very mild stage one camshaft....nothing at the level that RPW or RRM is.

My guess last night was 149 whp, 145wtq......actual numbers are 147.2 whp, 149tq!!! With super flat curves.
I essentially made peak numbers that the 1st gen Stock WRX made on their dyno. Not saying we are as fast as a WRX, but there is some potential for us.

Will have an electronic form of the dyno sheet tomorrow.

I think it's right at rrm's stage one camshaft and rpws stage 1 as well... I've seen and heard an eclipse 4g69 with rpws stage 1 camshaft so Ill give my 2 cents comparativly.

I would recommend the custom camshaft. But only on the grounds that you know exactly what you are looking for.

I'm looking to rape cars that are in my class, and some that are above it.

Working on obtaining electronic dyno sheets w/AFR as we speak. There was no before dyno...not enough time. The install of cam and intake mani took all damn day and they barely got one dyno session in.

Nice. those are good numbers for an N\A engine. interested in seeing the torque curve, that's where the power gets put down.

The reflash handled the cam and mani changes well?

Next stop -- the drag strip!
