Im diggin the Black and the white

 

I'm not usually a fan of blue, but it looks pretty good on the RA, but so does the red, white, and black...

 

Hmm at least in that picture I think I like them better with the wing. It at least needs a lip spoiler or something, then again it may just be the angle.

 

Loving this car more and more. Hey let me see a GG color one. I really like that Red Orange color they showed it with. Most likely wont come in Phantom black, maybe a option.

 

a white one would be sexy. i love white cars with dark shoes

 

Yah i'm all for White or Black. Maybe Gray. I think it's time to start thinking about selling my RA.

 

It does look good in white, but I've had already had like 3 cars that color. The rotten orange is growing on me too. It looks similar to the color I wanted to get for the eclipse back in 97-98. I would like to see the graphite grey and tarmac black in person as I've always wanted a dark car, but also heard they are hard to keep clean...

 

Phantom black has gold flecks in it, right? I think I'd rather have Tarmac Black, personally...

I have been following this for a while and have enjoyed all of the conversation and pics so I want to thank you for that but I had to sign up and put in my two cents on the Evo Vs RA. When I first saw the new Evo I fell in love and knew that I wanted one but was not a fan of the price tag. Then I found out about the release of the new RA. As much as I am not a fan of the tranny the estimated price sold me on it….until the other day. After stopping by the local dealership to take a look at the Evo something hit me so I went home and looked up some specs on the two cars. The RA appears to share the same body as the Lancer where the Evo appears to have flared front and rear fenders. It makes the car look a lot more aggressive. If you look at the specs the width of the car is larger, the track is larger and the tires are considerably wider. This also leads me to believe you will not be able to swap rims around with ease either. At this point I think I am going to wait for the RA to be released and confirm this but if I am correct in my assumptions the choice is easy….EVO EVO EVO

 

Yeah the ralliart will use the standard lancer fenders. The ones on the evo at least the fronts are aluminum and pricey.

 

wingless RA looks nice, hopefully mitsu will make a spoiler delete option so people dont have to go filling up holes for the spoiler

 

So today I sat in an 08 Evo... I'm really debating just getting the Evo instead of the RA. Of course they wouldn't let me test drive it because it's the first one in Oregon. They said if I made an offer than I could.

The transmission (I think) will be the biggest downfall of the RA. It really depends how limiting that transmission will be for modifying in my case.

The Evo sure is a beautiful car. If the RA is somewhat close to it, it will sell like hotcakes.

 

i also remmeber someone sayin the ralliart will handle better than the ix? is this true...how close will the RA handling be to the evo 8/9/10 models
