Car and Driver Comparo is out
I doubt there will be people serious enough about modding the RA to get into transmission strengthening especially with one that is so expensive. While it may not cost 100's of thousands, it will definitely be 10's of thousands. You have to sell a lot of clutch packs to get your money back. Unless they work for the MR also.
I'm sorry but Xtremeboost has also been promising a turbo kit for how long? Do you really think they have the resources (ie. hundreds of thousands of dollars) to make new clutch packs for a brand new transmission? As I said, I think the shear cost of the transmission coupled with the market that the car is aimed at will make the likeliness of upgrades unlikely.
I don't see the point of putting out large turbo kits for the Ralliart as it will probably not be very driveable or cause the tranny to fail. The only turbo upgrade that makes sense it the turbocharger from the EVO X as we know it will fit and the transmission will handle it with an EVO MR type flash. If you want to go faster than that you should have bought an EXO X GSR instead. The Ralliart is a daily driver not a track car.

Lol, I ****ing knew it! People kept telling me "oh you're just a fanboy" or "we don't know the limits" but I (along with many others) put two and two together and got four. I'm sure someone will say "oh they haven't actually blown the tranny yet so who knows" but come on now, this isn't the first source to put the rating around the 350 ft-lbs mark. Just so people know, that's less than 300 WTQ.
. That tranny is made for ppl who want a DD with some performance in mind and want a manual feel with the convenience of an automatic. Besides if i was to get one, getting it to a stock Evo status would be fine with me. And that we know it can handle and then some. I think it can hold 300 WTQ safely but thats it.

I never expected it to do more than that anyway so it's not that suprising to me but i'm glad u feel all giggly inside

. Tru fanboys i don't even bother answer to. As much as i do like the TC-SST i personally wouldn't try to put too much strain on it.
Only when I know I actually have a logical argument to stand on. If my argument can be summed with "X is bad because my car is better", than I've done something wrong.

The better Evo is a GSR . less weight, better weight distribution, great transmission. So more room for modifications and HP gain.
For DD there is a RA
This is how i see it.
