Car and Driver Comparo is out
Many of the manufacturers have either pulled out completely or greatly reduced their magazine advertising, now focusing more on the web which is why the magazines are now more focused on this...the writing is on the wall for the publishing industry...
LOL..OMG!! or the IS250 AWD or 350
or the Nissan 350z Nismo are better than all the other cars on that list..
I just got my Jan 09 C&D ("Dirty speed done dirt cheap")and it was once again not good. RA is last of 7. They liked the trans and the ride and seats. Too little performance for too big a price. "outgunned in its class, expensive"

Another 09 WRX bites the dust. A guy I know just had the dreaded rod bearing knock start on his new 09 WRX. Towed to Subie yesterday. Will see what they say. I am glad I was not in a rush to buy. Lets hope the RA is more reliable!!! I will be staying away from Subie for sure.

Wow another one? The engine seems to be too powerful for its own good.
Kind of like the never-talked about issue with the early stock WRX tuning...my buddy got his bought back because Subaru couldn't come up with a fix and wouldn't admit it was a problem even though he had the data logs to prove it. They bought the car back and he bought an Evo. It's the same reason they went to a 2.5-liter engine here...couldn't get the 2.0 tuned properly to run right AND pass emissions.
What do you mean? They did a recall and that was not the problem? If they are replacing that many engines (the most expensive component in a car) they are going to be hurting big time. My fear is that they are going to RECYCLE those blocks and start sending them back out for the replacements with new guts!!
