Getting that kind of power in a RA or WRX won't be cheap and you're fuel mileage with likely be even worse than 10 MPG.

Mildly aggressive most of the time. It is hard not to go fast when you have that much power.

Like I said previously I don't plan on modding the RA.

his gas mileage will be exceptionally better with a 350hp RA.

Yeah AWD turbo cars increase in fuel efficiency as you mod them.

HiBoost gets 30 mpg highway with a highly modded X that is running low to high 11's.

Eh, it all depends on how you drive. I have a gas guzzling X supposedly gets 16/22 city/highway EPA. I average 19 city and 25 highway with just a tune (normal driving habits, minimal boosts).

edit: I use a milder version of Hiboost's cruise mod which should be applicable on RAs too. You won't get 30MPG on it though, unless you have a highly modded setup like Hiboost's that provides better breathing on the powertrain.

10 mpg in a 350 whp fwd car that doesn't weigh too much? That seems odd to me. You'll get way better than that in a stock WRX or RA.

I did gain about 1-2 mpg when I got a tune and a TBE on the Evo... But anything past that and it is definitely going to go downhill. I didn't gain much, but didn't lose any with the Subaru, but that was just a mild tune.

30 mpg on a heavily tuned Evo seems crazy, unless he's dropped the weight and/or has something else going on (turns off boost on the freeway, runs an economy map, etc). "Highly" modded could mean 2700 lbs... that'd probably give a pretty huge increase in gas mileage

Why do you say this? Last I checked the Evo and STi both do 0-60 in the sub 5 second range. The WRX265 is 5.2.

That is because the WRX 09 has 265 hp over the old 220ish that the 08 had.

Most likely, Mitsu has been much better with covering warranties, but they have had their issues in the past. And like was said, if it shows any driver abuse or moddifications, then prepare for a bigger fight. But that's true with any car company who wants to make (rather than lose) money
