Mitsu Recommended Fluids!

Since everyone seems to be asking what fluid to use for what I thought I'd make this thread. It's in everyone's manual page 9-11 to 9-12, but now it's on here too.

Ralliart Fluids

Fuel: 14.5 gal (55.0L) 93 Octane

Engine Oil: Oil pan- 5.1 qt (4.8L) 5W-30
Filter- .32 qt ( 0.3L)

Power Steering: (As required) Genuine Mitsubishi Power Steering Fluid

TC-SST: 8.0 qt (7.6L) DiaQueen SSTF-I

Transfer Oil: .85 qt (0.8L) DiaQueen LSD Gear Oil

AWC Control Fluid: .95 pt (0.9L) Diamond ATF SP III

Rear Differential Oil: .58 qt (0.55L) DiaQueen LSD Gear Oil

Brake/Clutch: (As required) DOT3 or DOT4

Hood Lock Release mechanism and safety catch: (As required) Multipurpose Type
Grease NLGI Grade 2

Engine Coolant: 7.9 qt (7.5L) Long Life Antifreeze Coolant or equivalent

Washer Fluid: 4.3 qt (4.0L) Whatever you choose!

Refridgerant (Air Conditioning): Label under hood upper left corner. HFC-134a

Hope this helps

Yea the book says 93, but you can get away with 91. Only go lower if than 91 if it's an emergency and there's nothing else.

How about linked in the quick reference thread?

Also, be careful with the capacities since they are total cap. and not standard drain/fill capacities. Always measure where applicable.

I'll try to help with the replacement intervals and get some part numbers for you all too if I get some time.
